So Part of my preparing is losing weight. They say that weight can affect fertility, and I do not want that to be an issue. So I've started going to the gym again and I thought I was doing a nice length work out about 40 mins, but last night I did some reading and it says that for me to lose a decent amount of weight I need to double my time at the gym! So goodbye relaxed evenings, Hello gym time. Hopefully they continue to play decent movies at Gold's.

Forts!

So one of my favorite ways to pass the time is to make pillow forts on the couch for my Kitty Twinkie. He loves them and goes absolutely bonkers when we build them. He is currently trying to get me more involved in the fort and also trying to dig it deeper into the couch.

my Job

SO spending an entire day in a room with a six month old and a 1.5 yr old does not help. The little six month old is adorable, I saw him roll himself from back to belly today ( I'm the first to see him do that) and scoot himself around the room (another first) Oh and he giggles and is soo sweet and cute and easy! I want one! and the little 1.5 yr old I have had since she was 6 wks and I got to be a huge part of teaching her to walk, and I'm teaching her colors right now. I want to be teaching these things to my own babies! But instead I do it all day then pass them off to their mommies and come home to a crazy kitty cat.

My Insanity

So I find every month, even though we are not trying, that I am checking my "symptoms" against those of others online, hoping that by some strange chance I am pregnant after all. And then at the end of a cycle I find myself falling into a deep emotional depression, when I realize that I am for sure not pregnant that month. I am nearing that downward spiral again for this month and am hoping I can hold my spirits a little bit higher then I did last month.

I have been cheering myself up with thoughts of the upcoming consignment sale! That is where I picked up most of the clothes I have in the bin. It really makes me feel wonderful, and like I really will be a mother someday, when I get to pick out a few little outfits for really really cheap! I am kind of hoping to pick up a few other necessities this year, but I will have to wait and see what they have.

When we decided that the timing for us to have a baby wasn't going to sink up with me going absolutely baby bonkers we got a kitten. He is a lot of fun and he does give me some mothering satisfaction, but the deep urge to have a child of my own is still there.

So here it is...

I've got the baby bug, and it's bad. I've had it for about 2 years now with no end in sight. So I started a box, a box of baby things, so that when the end does come I'll already be a little bit prepared. I've also got a wishlist started of all the things I hope to have on a registry someday. Yesterday I got to chip away at that list just a tiny bit and it felt wonderful! Anyway here are the things I have in the box so far....
